As we grow and move through life we go through a series of experiences and events which we retell as a story in our minds. These stories are nothing more than our version of events based on our recollection of what happened during these events.
They are true only because we decide on our perception of these events. This perception gives us meaning and this meaning give us a belief on not just what happened but on ourselves as well.
The human is a meaning making machine, we like to make sense of things so we give things a meaning. The fun thing is of course that nothing on its own has any meaning until we as meaning making machines attach a meaning to it. You read that again if you like. “Nothing on its own has any meaning until we as meaning making machines attach a meaning to it.”
This is the concept that our People Like Me programme is based on. This two day programme will help you look at your life so far and help you discover what belief’s are serving you and which belief’s we can change to help you live your life on your terms.
Once you understand that your life is just a collection of the stories you tell yourself and that you can rewrite your story anytime, you can start to live your life on your terms.
