Gola Setting Personal Adventure

“A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.” John A Shedd 1928

I love this quote as it works on many levels. For me it invokes a nostalgic spirit of discovery. Setting sail to the open seas in search of adventure, discovery and a new life. It also encapsulates how valuable a harbour is for ships. A place of safety from the storm, to replenish, disembark, restock with supplies before setting sail again.

As we begin to come of out 2021 now is a good time to evaluate how your ship has been sailing over the last 12 months and what course you want to navigate for 2022.

We know the seas of 2022 still remain a little choppy due to the current state of play the world finds itself in. However, the quote by John A Shields is a good one to have in mind when setting your goals for the next twelve months.

Ships were built to sail and to navigate the seas and oceans of life what do you need to know to be able to “weigh your anchor” and set sail on a course for your success in 2022?

My wish for you as the Captain of your ship is for you to create your own fair wind and make good speed toward your success.

Many of us have been in the harbour long enough. Make sure your ship has made good use of its time in the harbour. Your course has been adjusted for your success and the crew you surround yourself with are ready and know your route so you can set sail again with a new spirit of adventure and success.
